If you’re leading women in the local church, you already know the weight—and the wonder—of this calling. But finding the space to dream, plan, and reconnect with your “why” can feel impossible in the middle of everyday ministry demands. At Connected to Serve, you’ll discover a life-giving framework that helps you slow down, hear from Jesus, and build a ministry year with clarity and confidence. You’ll gain practical tools, fresh vision, and a supportive community of leaders who understand your heart for ministry. As leaders, everything we pour out begins with what we receive from Him. Step away from the hurry and enter a space where your soul can breathe again. Through Scripture, guided reflection, and unhurried communion with the Lord, you’ll rediscover the joy of abiding in Christ.
CONNECT TO JESUS
Build meaningful relationships with women who understand your calling. Through conversation, shared experiences, and intentional connection, you’ll find encouragement, camaraderie, and the reminder that ministry is stronger—and far more joyful—when we link arms together.
CONNECT TO EACH OTHER
Move forward with clarity and purpose in leading women well. You'll receive encouragement, practical tools, and guided planning time to map out your 2026–27 ministry year, aligning your vision with God’s heart and strengthening your team’s next faithful steps.

Dixon
AUTHOR | SPEAKER | BIBLE TEACHER | WOMEN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR | COACH
Heather M. Dixon is an author, national speaker, Bible teacher, and Women’s Ministry Director with over twenty-five years of experience teaching God’s Word. As the founder of The Rescued Letters Collective, she is passionate about helping women find hope in hard stories by making the Bible accessible, relatable, and deeply meaningful.
With four published Bible studies and more than 25 speaking events each year, Heather brings a wealth of biblical insight and practical ministry experience to every room she enters. In 2021, she helped relaunch her church’s women’s ministry in a post-pandemic world—an experience that opened her eyes even more to the real challenges ministry leaders face. Her boots-on-the-ground perspective led her to create a local networking group for women’s ministry leaders in 2023, offering community and collaboration to those often leading alone.
Diagnosed with a life-threatening genetic disorder she inherited from her mother, Heather knows what it means to cling to Scripture for strength. That dependence on God’s Word shapes her down-to-earth teaching style and her heart to encourage others. She loves equipping leaders with the clarity, tools, and biblical confidence they need to thrive in their God-given calling.
When she’s not writing or traveling to teach, you’ll find Heather cooking for her husband and son, getting lost in a stack of library books, or delighting in all things Disney.

WHY WE CREATED THIS RETREAT
Over the years, we’ve met countless women’s ministry leaders who were called into leadership with willing hearts but little support. They love their churches deeply. They long to disciple women well. They want to build ministries that reflect the heart of Jesus—but many don’t have the tools, time, or community they need to thrive.
We’ve watched leaders serve faithfully while feeling isolated, stretched thin, or unsure how to plan effectively. We’ve seen women try to carry the spiritual, emotional, and logistical load of ministry alone. And we’ve heard the quiet confessions: “I don’t know where to start. I don’t know who to ask. I wish someone could walk with me.”
This retreat was birthed from that burden.
We wanted to create a space where leaders could breathe again—where they could connect with Jesus, link arms with each other, and step confidently into the mission ahead. A place where practical tools meet spiritual renewal. Where vision is strengthened. Where teams grow together. And where leaders are reminded that the God who called them is the One who equips them.
Connected to Serve exists because ministry was never meant to be done alone. Our heart is to encourage, equip, and empower leaders like you—so you can joyfully lead the women God has entrusted to your care.
Did we mention the icing on the cake?
1:1 private session
In addition to the group sessions, we'll have a limited availability of slots where attendees can schedule a personalized consulting appointment for tailored coaching, focused guidance, and ministry strategy support from Honey or Heather.
Don’t carry the weight of ministry alone when you could lead from a place of renewal and clarity. The strength you need is within reach—and we’re here to help you step into it.
